When did you become interested in genealogy?: - I began researching the "Devin" Surname, probably sometime around 1985, when discussing ''Family" to my son, Jonathan. Cousin Ginny introduced me to the extensive "Woods" family ancestry sometime in the early-mid 1990s. Since then, I have been possessed with 'filling in the blanks' and providing documented sources on all family lines that somehow relate to our extensive Family Tree.
Most significant genealogy accomplishment: - Documenting the Lineage of Merovech (King of the Saltan Franks 411-456) to the Plantagenet Royal Family, which openied up an additional 668 years of Family Tree history to what Ginny had already proven in her earlier research. This line, which includes many notables, such as Charlemagne, Dagobert, Cedric, etc., can be seen on one of our featured stories, here on treesinthewood.com
Other thoughts or information you wish to share: - I'm honored to be a member of this "Family Tree Team" and sharing our common ancestry with all our family members.
